New Mexico High School Basketball - Moriarty can't hold off Taos

The Taos Tigers basketball team scored 30 points and restricted the visiting Moriarty Pintos to 25 in the Tigers non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Tigers now sport a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Los Alamos for a non-league contest on Friday, January 27. Taos will battle a Hilltoppers team coming off a 40-21 non-league loss to Espanola Valley (Espanola, NM). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 4-4.
The Pintos (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Pojoaque Valley (Pojoaque, NM). The Elks/Elkettes come into the non-league contest with a 4-6 record. In their last contest, Pojoaque Valley was nudged by St. Michael's (Santa Fe, NM), 56-54, in a non-league contest.
