California High School Basketball - Verdugo Hills can't hold off Poly

The Poly Parrots basketball team scored 32 points and held the host Verdugo Hills Dons to 27 in the Parrots league triumph on Wednesday.
The Parrots now sport a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Grant for a contest on Friday, January 27. Poly will battle a Lancers team coming off a 40-5 league loss to Arleta (Arleta, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 3-6.
The Dons (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against Eagle Rock (Los Angeles, CA). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 5-6 record.
