American Youth Academy Eagles (Tampa, FL) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Brandon Academy Scorpions (Brandon, FL), 54-26 in a non-league bout.

With the win, American Youth Academy upgrades its record to 8-4 on the season. The Eagles travel to Universal Academy (Tampa, FL) to clash with the Falcons in a bout on Monday, January 30. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 3-6.

Next up, the Scorpions clash with the Cambridge Christian Lancers (Tampa, FL) in a bout, on Thursday, January 26. Brandon Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Lancers go into the bout with a 9-5 record after their 53-42 non-league loss to Keswick Christian (St. Petersburg, FL).
