Virginia High School Basketball - Brunswick trounces Southampton

The Brunswick Bulldogs (Lawrenceville, VA) basketball crushed the visiting Southampton Indians (Courtland, VA), 36-10 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Bulldogs (7-2) will now prepare for their test against Greensville County (Emporia, VA). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 7-0 record. In their last test, Greensville County walloped Nottoway (Nottoway, VA), 44-34, in a non-league test.
The Indians now own a 3-6 record. They play next when they travel to Franklin for a non-league test on Thursday, February 2. Southampton will encounter a Broncos squad coming off a 37-27 non-league win over Surry County (Dendron, VA). The Broncos record now stands at 9-5.
