The Hawkins Hawks basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the visiting Harbor Teacher Monarchs to 31 in the Hawks league victory on Wednesday.

The Hawks now sport a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dymally for a contest on Friday, January 27. Hawkins will battle a Challengers team coming off a 65-19 league loss to Harbor Teacher (Wilmington, CA). The Challengers record now stands at 0-3.

The Monarchs (7-2) will now prepare for their contest against Port of Los Angeles (San Pedro, CA). The Polar Bears come into the contest with a 1-8 record. In their last contest, Port of Los Angeles was defeated by Jordan (Los Angeles, CA), 58-30, in a league contest.
