California High School Basketball - River City knocked off by Monterey Trail

The Monterey Trail Mustangs basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting River City Raiders to 42 in the Mustangs league triumph on Wednesday.
The Mustangs now sport a 14-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McClatchy for a contest on Friday, January 27. Monterey Trail will battle a Lions team coming off a 65-60 league loss to River City (West Sacramento, CA). The Lions record now stands at 1-12.
The Raiders (10-9) will now prepare for their contest against Grant (Sacramento, CA). The Pacers enter the contest with a 6-3 record. In their last contest, Grant ran past Laguna Creek (Elk Grove, CA), 74-46, in a league contest.
