The Orangeburg-Wilkinson Bruins (Orangeburg, SC) basketball nipped the host Sumter Gamecocks (Sumter, SC), 22-17 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Bruins (9-6) will now prepare for their test against Gilbert (Gilbert, SC). The Indians go into the test with a 1-3 record.

The Gamecocks now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Conway for a test on Monday, February 6.
