Academy of Holy Angels Stars (Richfield, MN) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Kennedy Eagles (Bloomington, MN), 47-40 in a league bout.

With the victory, Academy of Holy Angels upgrades its record to 3-15 on the campaign. The Stars host Brooklyn Center (Brooklyn Center, MN) to play the Centaurs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Centaurs come into the bout with a record of 2-13. Brooklyn Center lost 62-61 in their recent non-league bout against Willmar (Willmar, MN)

Next up, the Eagles play the Brooklyn Center Centaurs (Brooklyn Center, MN) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 1. Kennedy will attempt to upgrade on its 3-14 season record.
