Michigan High School Basketball - Sault Area ripped by Alpena

The Alpena Wildcats basketball team scored 66 points and held the visiting Sault Area Blue Devils to 34 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Wildcats now sport a 4-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Petoskey for a Big North contest on Tuesday, January 30. Alpena will battle a Northmen team coming off a 75-45 non-league win over Union (Grand Rapids, MI). The Northmen record now stands at 8-6.
The Blue Devils (5-7) will now prepare for their contest against Escanaba (Escanaba, MI). The Eskymos enter the non-league contest with a 7-5 record. In their last contest, Escanaba triumphed over Westwood (Ishpeming, MI), 60-59, in a non-league contest.
