The Amherst Broncos (Amherst, NE) basketball nipped the visiting Sumner-Eddyville-Miller Mustangs (Sumner, NE), 48-43 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Broncos (16-1) will now prepare for their test against Elm Creek (Elm Creek, NE). The Buffaloes go into the non-league test with a 13-4 record. In their last test, Elm Creek got by Overton (Overton, NE), 61-55, in a non-league test.
The Mustangs now own a 9-5 record. They play next when they travel to Pleasanton for a non-league test on Monday, February 5.
