Iowa High School Basketball - Coon Rapids-Bayard can't hold off Ar-We-Va/Unity Ridge Lutheran

January 25, 2024: Westside, IA

The Ar-We-Va/Unity Ridge Lutheran basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Coon Rapids-Bayard Crusaders to 59 in the league triumph on Thursday.

The now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Woodbine for a non-league contest on Friday, January 26. Ar-We-Va/Unity Ridge Lutheran will battle a Tigers team coming off a 70-27 non-league win over Fremont-Mills (Tabor, IA). The Tigers record now stands at 14-1.

The Crusaders (15-4) will now prepare for their contest against Woodbine (Woodbine, IA). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 16-1 record.
