Beaverton Beavers (Beaverton, MI) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Harrison Hornets (Harrison, MI), 70-26 in a league bout.

With the win, Beaverton upgrades its record to 6-8 on the season. The Beavers travel to Farwell (Farwell, MI) to clash with the Eagles in a Jack Pine bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 0-12. Farwell lost 57-18 in their recent league bout against Pinconning (Pinconning, MI)

Next up, the Hornets clash with the Central Montcalm Hornets (Stanton, MI) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 29. Harrison will attempt to upgrade on its 2-11 season record. The Hornets go into the bout with a 4-9 record after their 61-42 league win over Chippewa Hills (Remus, MI).
