The Mitchell Kernels basketball team scored 68 points and restricted the host Brookings Bobcats to 55 in the Kernels league victory on Thursday.
The Kernels now sport a 10-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jefferson for a AA contest on Tuesday, January 30. Mitchell will battle a Cavaliers team coming off a 58-55 league loss to Washington (Sioux Falls, SD). The Cavaliers record now stands at 6-7.
The Bobcats (1-11) will now prepare for their contest against Washington (Sioux Falls, SD). The Warriors come into the AA contest with a 10-3 record. In their last contest, Washington prevailed over Jefferson (Sioux Falls, SD), 58-55, in a league contest.
