The Buckley Griffins basketball team scored 72 points and restricted the host de Toledo Jaguars to 47 in the Griffins league victory on Thursday.
The Griffins now sport a 15-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Yeshiva University of Los Angeles (YULA) for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 27. Buckley will battle a Panthers team coming off a 62-60 league loss to Pacifica Christian/Santa Monica (Santa Monica, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 13-9.
The Jaguars (12-10) will now prepare for their contest against Milken (Los Angeles, CA). The Wildcats come into the Independence contest with a 17-8 record. In their last contest, Milken was routed by Holy Martyrs Armenian (Encino, CA), 52-43, in a league contest.
