The St. Johnsbury Academy Hilltoppers (St. Johnsbury, VT) basketball knocked off the visiting Burlington Seahorses (Burlington, VT), 72-54 in Thursday's league test.

The Hilltoppers (12-2) will now prepare for their test against Bellows Free Academy (St. Albans, VT). The Bobwhites/Comets go into the non-league test with a 8-6 record. In their last test, Bellows Free Academy notched a victory over Colchester (Colchester, VT), 70-64, in a non-league test.

The Seahorses now own a 8-7 record. They play next when they host Champlain Valley Union for a Metro test on Monday, January 29. Burlington will encounter a Redhawks squad coming off a 58-43 league win over Mt. Mansfield (Jericho, VT). The Redhawks record now stands at 11-2.
