The Camden Panthers (Camden, NJ) basketball nipped the visiting Camden Catholic Fighting Irish (Cherry Hill, NJ), 42-40 in Thursday's league test.
The Panthers (14-3) will now prepare for their test against Paul VI (Haddonfield, NJ). The Eagles go into the Olympic - National test with a 16-4 record.
The Fighting Irish now own a 7-7 record. They play next when they travel to Manasquan for a non-league test on Saturday, January 27. Camden Catholic will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 64-47 non-league win over Point Pleasant Boro (Point Pleasant, NJ). The Warriors record now stands at 14-2.
