In Thursday's non-league outing, the Eufaula Ironheads (Eufaula, OK) basketball squad edged the host Checotah Wildcats (Checotah, OK), by a count of 46-43.
The Ironheads (8-8) will now prepare for their outing against Beggs (Beggs, OK). The Demons go into the Big Eight Star outing with a 5-9 record. In their last outing, Beggs was tipped by Morris (Morris, OK), 58-53, in a league outing.
The Wildcats now hold a 3-12 record. They play next when they travel to Spiro for a NOAA outing on Friday, January 26.
