Cheney RVT Beavers (Manchester, CT) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Goodwin Tech Gladiators (New Britain, CT), 94-56 in a league bout.
With the win, Cheney RVT upgrades its record to 11-2 on the season. The Beavers host Vinal RVT (Middletown, CT) to play the Hawks in a Connecticut Technical - Central bout on Friday, January 26. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 0-11. Vinal RVT lost 56-50 in their recent non-league bout against Wolcott RVT (Torrington, CT)
Next up, the Gladiators play the Prince RVT Falcons (Hartford, CT) in a Connecticut Technical - Central bout, on Friday, January 26. Goodwin Tech will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 2-8 record after their 57-52 non-league win over Achievement First (Hartford, CT).
