Clarke Indians (Osceola, IA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Davis County Mustangs (Bloomfield, IA), 81-54 in a league bout.

With the win, Clarke upgrades its record to 12-2 on the season. The Indians travel to Centerville (Centerville, IA) to play the Big Reds/Redettes in a Freelance bout on Friday, January 26. The Big Reds/Redettes go into the bout with a record of 9-5. Centerville won 78-66 in their recent non-league bout against Cardinal (Eldon, IA)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Albia Blue Demons (Albia, IA) in a South Central bout, on Friday, January 26. Davis County will attempt to upgrade on its 2-12 season record. The Blue Demons go into the bout with a 6-6 record after their 74-49 league win over Chariton (Chariton, IA).
