In Thursday's league outing, the Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy (Victorville, CA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host University Prep Jaguars (Victorville, CA), by a margin of 59-30.

The (7-7) will now prepare for their outing against Riverside Prep (Oro Grande, CA). The Silver Knights go into the Cross Valley outing with a 10-15 record. In their last outing, Riverside Prep was trounced by Hesperia Christian (Hesperia, CA), 61-51, in a league outing.

The Jaguars now own a 0-17 record. They play next when they travel to Big Bear for a Cross Valley outing on Tuesday, January 30. University Prep will clash with a Bears squad coming off a 72-61 league win over Academy for Academic Excellence (Apple Valley, CA). The Bears record now stands at 19-5.
