Old Fort Stockaders (Old Fort, OH) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Danbury Lakers (Lakeside, OH), 96-34 in a league bout.

With the victory, Old Fort upgrades its record to 12-2 on the campaign. The Stockaders travel to Gibsonburg (Gibsonburg, OH) to play the Golden Bears in a Sandusky Bay - River bout on Saturday, January 27. The Golden Bears come into the bout with a record of 8-7. Gibsonburg lost 46-40 in their recent league bout against New Riegel (New Riegel, OH)

Next up, the Lakers play the St. Joseph Central Catholic Crimson Streaks (Fremont, OH) in a Sandusky Bay - River bout, on Saturday, January 27. Danbury will attempt to upgrade on its 3-11 season record. The Crimson Streaks come into the bout with a 4-9 record after their 71-57 league loss to Woodmore (Elmore, OH).
