Omaha Eagles (Omaha, AR) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Deer Antlers (Deer, AR), 71-29 in a league bout.

With the victory, Omaha upgrades its record to 13-10 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Viola (Viola, AR) to play the Longhorns in a non-league bout on Friday, January 26. The Longhorns come into the bout with a record of 13-18. Viola won 61-31 in their recent league bout against Calico Rock (Calico Rock, AR)

Next up, the Antlers play the Alpena Leopards (Alpena, AR) in a 1A Region 1 East bout, on Friday, January 26. Deer will attempt to advance on its 3-18 season record. The Leopards go into the test with a 11-13 record after their 76-38 league win over Mount Judea (Mount Judea, AR).
