Delsea Crusaders (Franklinville, NJ) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Deptford Spartans (Deptford, NJ), 62-45 in a league bout.

With the victory, Delsea upgrades its record to 12-4 on the campaign. The Crusaders travel to St. Joseph (Hammonton, NJ) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 27. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 8-10. St. Joseph lost 55-47 in their recent league bout against St. Augustine Prep (Richland, NJ)

Next up, the Spartans play the Glassboro Bulldogs (Glassboro, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 26. Deptford will attempt to upgrade on its 7-8 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 7-8 record after their 72-53 non-league loss to Pitman (Pitman, NJ).
