Iowa High School Basketball - St. Albert topped by Denison-Schleswig

The Denison-Schleswig Monarchs basketball team scored 68 points and restricted the host St. Albert Falcons to 53 in the Monarchs league victory on Thursday.
The Monarchs now sport a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Shenandoah for a Hawkeye Ten contest on Friday, January 26. Denison-Schleswig will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 81-36 league loss to Lewis Central (Council Bluffs, IA). The Mustangs record now stands at 6-8.
The Falcons (4-10) will now prepare for their contest against Atlantic (Atlantic, IA). The Trojans come into the Hawkeye Ten contest with a 6-10 record. In their last contest, Atlantic prevailed over Creston (Creston, IA), 75-73, in a league contest.
