With the victory, Dexter upgrades its record to 8-12 on the campaign. The Demons host Tucumcari (Tucumcari, NM) to play the Rattlers in a 3A District 4 challenge on Friday, February 2. The Rattlers come into the challenge with a record of 6-10. Tucumcari lost 90-40 in their recent non-league challenge against Bosque (Albuquerque, NM)

Next up, the Bobcats play the Jal Panthers (Jal, NM) in a 2A District 4 challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Hagerman will attempt to upgrade on its 5-13 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 9-8 record after their 61-38 non-league win over Cloudcroft (Cloudcroft, NM).
