Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Peyton Panthers (Peyton, CO) and the visiting Fountain Valley Danes (Colorado Springs, CO), saw Peyton's basketball squad hold off Fountain Valley by a tally of 52-49.
With the victory, Peyton improves its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Panthers host Yuma (Yuma, CO) to play the Yuma in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 27. The Yuma come into the challenge with a record of 11-1. Yuma won 58-53 in their recent league challenge against Wray (Wray, CO)
Next up, the Danes play the Pikes Peak Christian Eagles (Colorado Springs, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Fountain Valley will attempt to improve on its 5-5 season record.
