Tri-State Christian Huskies (Dubuque, IA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Galesburg Christian Lions (Galesburg, IL), 54-45 in a league bout.

With the win, Tri-State Christian upgrades its record to 8-3 on the season. The Huskies travel to Quad Cities Christian (Moline, IL) to clash with the Eagles in a Northern Illinois Christian bout on Monday, January 29. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 15-6. Quad Cities Christian lost 61-51 in their recent league bout against Faith Christian (Dixon, IL)

Next up, the Lions clash with the Unity Christian Knights (Fulton, IL) in a Northern Illinois Christian bout, on Saturday, January 27. Galesburg Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 6-8 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 1-14 record after their 72-36 league loss to Quad Cities Christian (Moline, IL).
