Ohio High School Basketball - Gibsonburg tipped by New Riegel

The New Riegel Blue Jackets basketball team scored 46 points and held the visiting Gibsonburg Golden Bears to 40 in the Blue Jackets league triumph on Thursday.

The Blue Jackets now sport a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hopewell-Loudon for a Sandusky Bay - River contest on Saturday, January 27. New Riegel will meet a Chieftains team coming off a 63-28 league win over Lakota (Kansas, OH). The Chieftains record now stands at 12-2.

The Golden Bears (8-7) will now prepare for their contest against Old Fort (Old Fort, OH). The Stockaders enter the Sandusky Bay - River contest with a 12-2 record. In their last contest, Old Fort nudged Danbury (Lakeside, OH), 96-34, in a league contest.
