The Houston Hurricanes basketball team scored 67 points and held the host Glenville-Emmons Wolverines to 59 in the Hurricanes league triumph on Thursday.
The Hurricanes now sport a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lyle/Pacelli for a A Section 1 contest on Friday, January 26. Houston will battle a Athletics team coming off a 75-61 league win over Mabel-Canton (Mabel, MN). The Athletics record now stands at 7-8.
The Wolverines (5-9) will now prepare for their contest against Lanesboro (Lanesboro, MN). The Burros enter the A Section 1 contest with a 4-12 record. In their last contest, Lanesboro ran past LeRoy-Ostrander (LeRoy, MN), 74-55, in a league contest.
