Granada Matadors (Livermore, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting San Ramon Valley Wolves (Danville, CA), 60-58 in a league bout.

With the win, Granada upgrades its record to 19-2 on the season. The Matadors host Dublin (Dublin, CA) to play the Gaels in a East Bay bout on Saturday, January 27. The Gaels go into the bout with a record of 18-5. Dublin won 67-57 in their recent league bout against Amador Valley (Pleasanton, CA)

Next up, the Wolves play the Foothill Falcons (Pleasanton, CA) in a East Bay bout, on Saturday, January 27. San Ramon Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 19-4 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 14-8 record after their 52-39 league loss to De La Salle (Concord, CA).
