The Marion Mustangs basketball team scored 77 points and held the visiting Gresham Community Wildcats to 55 in the Mustangs league triumph on Thursday.

The Mustangs now sport a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Iola-Scandinavia for a non-league contest on Monday, January 29. Marion will battle a Thunderbirds team coming off a 56-46 league loss to Wittenberg-Birnamwood (Wittenberg, WI). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 5-9.

The Wildcats (0-17) will now prepare for their contest against Tigerton (Tigerton, WI). The Tigers enter the Central Wisconsin - North contest with a 9-4 record. In their last contest, Tigerton triumphed over White Lake (White Lake, WI), 50-29, in a league contest.
