Union County Fightin' Tigers (Lake Butler, FL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Hamilton County Trojans (Jasper, FL), 78-54 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Union County upgrades its record to 10-8 on the season. The Fightin' Tigers host Fort White (Fort White, FL) to clash with the Indians in a non-league bout on Friday, January 26. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 13-5. Fort White lost 50-32 in their recent non-league bout against Oak Hall (Gainesville, FL)

Next up, the Trojans clash with the Hilliard Red Flashes (Hilliard, FL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 26. Hamilton County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-10 season record. The Red Flashes go into the bout with a 17-2 record after their 74-64 non-league win over Fernandina Beach (Fernandina Beach, FL).
