Harding Academy Wildcats (Searcy, AR) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Pangburn Tigers (Pangburn, AR), 51-37 in a league bout.

With the win, Harding Academy upgrades its record to 3-8 on the season. The Wildcats host Bald Knob (Bald Knob, AR) to clash with the Bulldogs in a 3A Region 6 bout on Friday, January 26. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 17-5. Bald Knob lost 48-47 in their recent league bout against Pangburn (Pangburn, AR)

Next up, the Tigers clash with the Riverview Raiders (Searcy, AR) in a 3A Region 6 bout, on Friday, January 26. Pangburn will attempt to upgrade on its 14-12 season record. The Raiders go into the bout with a 18-1 record after their 65-44 league win over Rose Bud (Rose Bud, AR).
