North Carolina High School Basketball - Hobgood Charter topped by Ocracoke

The Ocracoke Dolphins basketball team scored 65 points and restricted the host Hobgood Charter Raiders to 53 in the Dolphins league victory on Thursday.

The Dolphins now sport a 11-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mattamuskeet for a 1A Atlantic 5 contest on Tuesday, January 30. Ocracoke will battle a Lakers team coming off a 77-27 league loss to Bear Grass Charter (Williamston, NC). The Lakers record now stands at 6-11.

The Raiders (6-7) will now prepare for their contest against Cape Hatteras (Buxton, NC). The Hurricanes come into the 1A Atlantic 5 contest with a 4-11 record. In their last contest, Cape Hatteras was defeated by Columbia (Columbia, NC), 55-37, in a league contest.
