South Pemiscot Bulldogs (Steele, MO) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad smash the host Holcomb Hornets (Holcomb, MO), 83-53 in a non-league game.

In their next game, the Bulldogs face the Campbell Camels (Campbell, MO) in a Bootheel game, on Saturday, January 27. South Pemiscot will attempt to move on its 7-5 season record. The Camels enter the game with a 9-6 record after their 74-55 league win over Senath-Hornersville (Senath, MO).

With the defeat, Holcomb moves to 4-12 on the year. The Hornets travel to Gideon (Gideon, MO) to face the Bulldogs in a Tri-County - Southeast game on Tuesday, January 30. The Bulldogs enter the game with a record of 3-11.
