The Howe Lions basketball team (Howe, OK), dropped 62-43 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Vian Wolverines (Vian, OK)
The Wolverines now sport a 7-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Oktaha for a Big Eight battle on Friday, January 26. Vian will battle a Tigers team coming off a 51-48 non-league win over Adair (Adair, OK). The Tigers record now stands at 11-5.
The Lions (7-10) will now prepare for their battle against Keys (Park Hill, OK). The Cougars come into the Big Eight battle with a 12-3 record. In their last battle, Keys dropped by Sequoyah (Tahlequah, OK), 48-43, in a non-league battle.
