In Thursday's league outing, the Southwestern Wildcats (Hazel Green, WI) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Iowa-Grant Panthers (Livingston, WI), by a margin of 90-59.

The Wildcats (11-5) will now prepare for their outing against Lancaster (Lancaster, WI). The Flying Arrows go into the non-league outing with a 8-8 record. In their last outing, Lancaster was trounced by Prairie du Chien (Prairie du Chien, WI), 58-41, in a league outing.

The Panthers now own a 3-12 record. They play next when they travel to Shullsburg for a non-league outing on Saturday, January 27. Iowa-Grant will clash with a Miners squad coming off a 70-32 league win over Cassville (Cassville, WI). The Miners record now stands at 11-5.
