Alaska High School Basketball - Newhalen ripped by King Cove

The King Cove T-Jacks and Rookies basketball team scored 83 points and held the host Newhalen Malamutes to 31 in the T-Jacks and Rookies non-league triumph on Thursday.
The T-Jacks and Rookies now sport a 6-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tanalian for a non-league contest on Friday, January 26. King Cove will battle a Lynx team coming off a 52-41 non-league loss to Chief Ivan Blunka (New Stuyahok, AK). The Lynx record now stands at 3-9.
The Malamutes (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Lumen Christi (Anchorage, AK). The Archangels enter the non-league contest with a 2-13 record.
