The Verrado Vipers (Buckeye, AZ) basketball crushed the visiting La Joya Community Fighting Lobos (Avondale, AZ), 81-51 in Thursday's league test.

The Vipers (9-10) will now prepare for their test against Williams Field (Gilbert, AZ). The Black Hawks go into the non-league test with a 6-16 record. In their last test, Williams Field was trounced by Casteel (Queen Creek, AZ), 50-44, in a league test.

The Fighting Lobos now own a 7-18 record. They play next when they travel to Canyon View for a 5A Desert West test on Thursday, February 1.
