With the victory, Lejeune improves its record to 7-9 on the campaign. The Devil Pups host Jones (Trenton, NC) to confront the Trojans in a 1A/2A Coastal Plains challenge on Friday, January 26. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 10-8. Jones won 65-54 in their recent non-league challenge against Eastern Christian HomeSchool (Washington, NC)

Next up, the Seahawks confront the Pamlico County Hurricanes (Bayboro, NC) in a 1A/2A Coastal Plains challenge, on Friday, January 26. Southside will attempt to improve on its 3-15 season record. The Hurricanes come into the challenge with a 9-8 record after their 84-40 league win over Jones (Trenton, NC).
