The Mountain Grove Panthers basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the visiting Liberty Eagles to 49 in the Panthers league victory on Thursday.
The Panthers now sport a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hartville for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 27. Mountain Grove will battle a Eagles team coming off a 58-37 non-league win over Norwood (Norwood, MO). The Eagles record now stands at 15-2.
The Eagles (8-4) will now prepare for their contest against Norwood (Norwood, MO). The Pirates come into the non-league contest with a 13-6 record. In their last contest, Norwood was nudged by Hartville (Hartville, MO), 58-37, in a non-league contest.
