With the victory, Valencia upgrades its record to 11-8 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to St. Pius X (Albuquerque, NM) to play the Sartans in a 4A District 5 challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Sartans come into the challenge with a record of 10-8. St. Pius X won 76-43 in their recent league challenge against Grants (Grants, NM)

Next up, the Hilltoppers play the Bernalillo Spartans (Bernalillo, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Los Alamos will attempt to upgrade on its 6-11 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 9-10 record after their 53-51 league loss to Del Norte (Albuquerque, NM).
