The Loyal Greyhounds basketball team scored 71 points and held the visiting Spencer Rockets to 46 in the Greyhounds league triumph on Thursday.

The Greyhounds now sport a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Neillsville for a Cloverbelt - East contest on Tuesday, January 30. Loyal will battle a Warriors team coming off a 73-49 league loss to Columbus Catholic (Marshfield, WI). The Warriors record now stands at 10-7.

The Rockets (5-11) will now prepare for their contest against Pittsville (Pittsville, WI). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 9-6 record. In their last match, Pittsville crushed Bowler (Bowler, WI), 79-48, in a non-league match.
