Loyalsock Township Lancers (Williamsport, PA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Warrior Run Defenders (Turbotville, PA), 74-53 in a league bout.

With the victory, Loyalsock Township upgrades its record to 15-1 on the campaign. The Lancers travel to Hughesville (Hughesville, PA) to play the Spartans in a Heartland III bout on Friday, January 26. The Spartans come into the bout with a record of 7-8. Hughesville lost 52-48 in their recent league bout against Southern Columbia Area (Catawissa, PA)

Next up, the Defenders play the Mount Carmel RED TORNADOES (Mount Carmel, PA) in a Heartland III bout, on Friday, January 26. Warrior Run will attempt to upgrade on its 7-7 season record. The RED TORNADOES come into the bout with a 8-8 record after their 61-53 non-league loss to Williams Valley (Tower City, PA).
