Mid-Buchanan Dragons (Faucett, MO) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting North Platte Panthers (Dearborn, MO), 60-54 in a league bout.

With the win, Mid-Buchanan upgrades its record to 11-4 on the season. The Dragons travel to KIPP Legacy (Kansas City, MO) to play the in a non-league bout on Monday, January 29. The go into the bout with a record of 14-4. KIPP Legacy won 57-52 in their recent non-league bout against Plattsburg (Plattsburg, MO)

Next up, the Panthers play the West Platte Bluejays (Weston, MO) in a KCI bout, on Saturday, January 27. North Platte will attempt to upgrade on its 12-5 season record. The Bluejays go into the bout with a 8-7 record after their 68-65 non-league win over St. Joseph Christian (St. Joseph, MO).
