The Pacific Pirates (San Bernardino, CA) basketball nipped the visiting Miller Rebels (Fontana, CA), 60-58 in Thursday's league test.

The Pirates (6-14) will now prepare for their test against Jurupa Valley (Jurupa Valley, CA). The Jaguars go into the Mountain Valley test with a 11-15 record. In their last test, Jurupa Valley was tipped by Indian Springs (San Bernardino, CA), 60-50, in a league test.

The Rebels now own a 0-18 record. They play next when they travel to San Bernardino for a Mountain Valley test on Tuesday, January 30. Miller will encounter a Cardinals squad coming off a 74-49 non-league loss to Kaiser (Fontana, CA). The Cardinals record now stands at 6-17.
