The Stonington Bears basketball team scored 64 points and held the host Montville Wolves to 47 in the Bears league triumph on Thursday.

The Bears now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wheeler for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 30.

The Wolves (4-9) will now prepare for their contest against Norwich RVT (Norwich, CT). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 3-8 record. In their last contest, Norwich RVT was defeated by Grasso Tech (Groton, CT), 54-41, in a league contest.
