The Murray County Central Rebels basketball team scored 83 points and held the visiting Westbrook-Walnut Grove Chargers to 52 in the Rebels league triumph on Thursday.

The Rebels now sport a 11-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hills-Beaver Creek for a A Section 3 contest on Saturday, January 27. Murray County Central will meet a Patriots team coming off a 59-47 league win over Red Rock Central (Lamberton, MN). The Patriots record now stands at 9-4.

The Chargers (2-16) will now prepare for their contest against Mountain Lake/Comfrey/Mountain Lake Christian (Mountain Lake, MN). The enter the non-league contest with a 12-1 record. In their last contest, Mountain Lake/Comfrey/Mountain Lake Christian triumphed over Edgerton (Edgerton, MN), 73-41, in a non-league contest.
