The Southwestern Academy Sun (San Marino, CA) basketball crushed the visiting New Covenant Academy Huskies (Los Angeles, CA), 54-20 in Thursday's league test.

The Sun (7-3) will now prepare for their test against Waverly (Pasadena, CA). The Ravens go into the International test with a 0-7 record. In their last test, Waverly was trounced by TREE Academy (West Hollywood, CA), 92-32, in a non-league test.

The Huskies now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they host Southwestern Academy for a International test on Thursday, February 1. New Covenant Academy will encounter a Sun squad coming off a 35-26 league loss to Sequoyah School (Pasadena, CA). The Sun record now stands at 8-4.
