Solebury Spartans (New Hope, PA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting New Foundations (Philadelphia, PA), 73-55 in a league bout.

With the win, Solebury upgrades its record to 10-9 on the season. The Spartans travel to Germantown Friends (Philadelphia, PA) to play the in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 27. The go into the bout with a record of 9-10. Germantown Friends lost 77-58 in their recent league bout against Friends' Central (Wynnewood, PA)

Next up, the play the Life Center Academy Warriors (Burlington, NJ) in a Penn-Jersey bout, on Friday, January 26. New Foundations will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 21-9 record after their 76-61 league win over Cristo Rey Philadelphia (Philadelphia, PA).
